This identification guide has been written to assist people in determining the authenticity of a Nissan Skyline R31 GTS-R, as distinguished from others in the R31 series such as the GTS, GTS-X and GTS-Autech. This identification guide has been drafted for the 1966 Pontiac GTO. For the 1967 Pontiac GTO guide, please click here. The 1966 GTO was the first to be offered as a distinct model, rather than an option package on the Pontiac ‘Tempest’, and featured new styling cues which further distinguished the car from others in the range.
