  • GTS1s were based on the Series 2 R31 Silhouette. All GTS1s were 4-door sedans.
  • All GTS1 vehicles were painted "Classic White" (paint code: 915).
  • Vehicles were fitted with a mild body kit that included a front bumper/splitter (the same as the standard Silhouette model), revised grille and a boot lid spoiler.
  • Unique colour-coded body mouldings were fitted which had a blue beading through the middle, also extending around the front and rear bumpers.
  • Nissan SVD decals were applied to the real left side tail lamp. A "Nissan Silhouette GTS" decal was applied to the right hand tail light, and a "Silhouette GTS" decal applied to the front door moulding strips. See the images for examples of each.
  • Body trims were de-chromed and painted satin black (this included the window frames and door handles).
  • Goodyear Eagle 215/55 VR tyres7 were originally fitted on white 16 x 7 inch 11-spoke alloy wheels, painted the same "Classic White" as the body. These wheels had Nissan embossed centre caps.
  • A fixed central roof-mounted antenna was fitted (as opposed to the standard antenna mounted on the rear passenger mudguard).
  • Tinted windows were applied as standard.

A cheaper black example (doesn't look as good as the French Racing Blue in my opinion), asking $6,600 AUD in September 2022. This one has a fair few Ks on the clock, but quite normal for the age. There are plenty of others with low Ks (under 150K) available, but prices always head up around the $10 K mark at the moment. 182hp, and a very popular base for a fun racer, these Clio Sports are fun modern classics.. 

In the original advertisement, the seller made the following comments about the car: "A very zippy little car with a 182HP engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Great features including cruise control, climate control, stability control, ABS, Airbags, factory sports exhaust, factory big brakes and an amazing chassis. Comes with service history, original books, receipts and 2 keys. Cam belt, engine mounts and other servicing done recently. Has a small dent just above the drivers side rear wheel. It drives and presents well for a 17 year old car. No rust or other major problems."
