This turquoise 65 Daytona Sports Sedan surprised me and turned up for sale in Newcastle, Australia, about 2 hours North of Sydney. A lovely colour combo, its one of only a couple of these in Australia. The seller at the time was asking $37,500 AUD, and noted the following about the car:

1965 Studebaker Daytona 2 door Sport Sedan. This car was a private import. It was owned by the curator of the Peterson Museum in the U.S, and spent a fair amount of time parked up in the museum. It runs a factory fitted 283 chev and auto trans. The carb has been stripped, cleaned and tuned. Has new spark plugs and fuel filter fitted. Engine has been tuned and it runs and drives real nice. It sounds great as well, with a full stainless steel twin exhaust system. It's had a new front disc brake kit fitted, and the rear brakes rebuild with new linings and new wheel cylinders. It's also had a new power booster and dual circuit master cylinder fitted. It has 15"×6" Ford Steel wheels painted in 2k off white, fitted with new 205/70/15 white wall tyres. The Torquoise paint isn't perfect, but does present very nice. As does the chrome work around the car and the white vynyl roof. It has full black interior with front bucket seats and console, and plush black carpet. The interior presents real nice. It has just had new front retractable lap sash seat belts fitted to the front as per import/engineering rules for imported vehicles. Car is engineered in N.S.W With all these pros, there is a couple of cons.. There is a stain on the vynyl roof. I'm sure it could be removed with the right product and some time... It has had a U.S patch up on the boot floor with fibreglass. It works fine, or could be cut out and patched. This could be done prior to purchase if the right money is paid. This is a great jump in and drive car. Pretty rare in Australia in the 2 door sedan body style. This is an appealing car, and does look great cruising on the road.. Car is L.H.D, but very easy to drive.
